How to include a Youtube video in a QlikView document

Hi,

I have a QlikView document where I want to include a video from Youtube. However, rather than providing the link to the Youtube video in a text box, i want the Youtube video to be directly showed in the QlikView document.

Is that possible ?

Thanks,

dani

Hi Dani,

Here is the attached file, I basically just took the file and added an Inline table with the data about my videos, I use this only for my own purposes

Alan

Hi, Dani.

I haven't tried it myself but I think you can use the Bundle function to hold videos within the .qvw but anything you do hold will significantly increase the file size of your app.

Hi Dani,

I copied a file from the Qlikview Demo site and made changes to suit what I needed.

I have started building a Qlikview file that will eventually hold 178 Youtube tutorials about Qlikview

Hope that helps

Hi Dani,

Press CTRL + Q S C in the Script Editor and you will see there are shortcuts to generate code to use Bundle

Hi, Dani.

There is a 'Bundle' function that can be added to the Load statement. Bundle Load statement allows you to load image and video files directly into your QlikView application. Have a look at the Help menu for a brief description.

Alternatively, look at www.ASKQV.com for examples from QLikView blogs or search this forum.

Cheers,

Neil

And btw I only have 2 videos on their, I will need to add the other 176 videos for the file to be of any benefit
