How to insert gif image into chart item?

Hi,

I have gif image from website. How can i insert this into qlikview chart item?

Hi, Amelia.

How are you planning to use it ?

If you want it to appear in a table, you can add it as an expression. In the expression tab, change the display option to image. Then put your gif address (surrounded by commas) in the definition with any criteria you want to trigger the image with.

If you want it to appear as a background image to a chart, go to Colours tab, click on image radio button in the Frame Background section and add your image.

Thanks. I would need to show this on the top of the bar as an alert. Is it possible. I have four chart items in container.

chart A, chart B,chart C,chart D.  But I need this only in Chart A.  Is it possible?

Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible for individual bars on a chart. I've never seen it done before.

As far as I know, image can't be added in the way you need.

You can add it as a background image or as suggested by Neil (in the expressions).

I think if you have a condition based on which you want to add an image on a specific bar then probably  a combo chart with symbol option for second expression may work. You may not add external images but at least you can use the symbols to indicate the alert.

Please see attached. I have a button on one bar and instead of that button I need the image. B ut this image I need only in chart 1 but not chart 2. if possible

Thanks. This is good.I need the alert if it crosses 15-21 days. Is it possible. And how you got the bars in sheet3 for straight chart item? And more over I need images(gif images) instaed of alert is it possible?
