How to modify QVW

Hi,

I have borrowed a license from the Server, when I use local version to open the QVW from the server, I could see the docs and select and view the data. But I could not modify the script and change the layout, could you help me out?

Check if you can see the Security settings under the Security tab in Settings > Document Properties.

Might be that the .qvw file is protected with section access and denying certain features for users.

Which licence available on Local MAchine? Because application developed on Leased licence will not open on local machin.

Hi,

I open the servers doc with client version. It means open the document from the server> type the qvs address>open the doc. And I could see the doc but all the button like load data,edit script turn gray. How to figure this out?

You can't edit the script via open in server. You'll need to download the document locally to make changes to it and then re-upload to your server.
