I have set up a report within a Qlikview document and distributed with publisher to users. The text in the email is:
Your document "TestDocument.pdf" has been distributed by QlikView Publisher. The document is attached to this message.
Time: 3/22/2012 10:17:58 AM
Additionally, the PDF that is attached to it is named TestDocument.pdf. So it looks like it is just taking the name of my QVW and making it the name of the PDF. However I have multiple reports coming for this document and want to be able to name them individually, ideally the name of the report itself, not of the whole Qlikview document. How do I do that? Thanks!
Scott
You can set the name of the PDF on the reduce tab under 'Reduced Document Name'. It is not necessary to set other values on the reduce tab.
You can use different 'Reduced Document Name Templates', for example:
%SourceDocumentName%
%TaskName%
%SerialNumber%
%ScriptParameter%
Date and time template
See all the options by clicking on the edit icon.
This works for PDF distribution to a folder and e-mail.
