How to open a document without data in vbs

hi all,

i would like to open a qlikview document without data in vbs.

So i use a code like this one (of course, there are others lines before and after)

Set SourceDoc = Qv.OpenDoc (doc,"","")

what are the 2 parameters set to null ?

is there a way to open the document without data ?

The OpenDocEx() member will have a parameter where you can specify that you open without data. It is parameter number seven and is a boolean. True() means NoData. True() is -1.

Set App = ActiveDocument.GetApplication

App.OpenDocEx "c:\....", 2 , false , "inn" , "123456", "" , false

Parameter:

1 - DocName

2 - AccessMode

3 - AllowDialog

4 - UserName

5- Password

6 - Serial

7 - NoData

8 - UseDocStartDate

Parameter 3-8 are optional...
