How to protect documents and scripts

Hi,

I have several documents placed in a network file which can be used by several users.

I would like to protect the access to the documents by a password and also, for those who can access, keep the script hidden with another password.

How can I do so?

You can protect with ACCESS SECTION, and select the options in Document and User

Set suitable AD / NTFS permissions on each qvw file.

With Publisher this can be auto done as per the AD Users / Group your Tasks are distributed to.

Without Publisher you will have to sort it manually.

Publisher whilst distributing qvw's also strips out the load script so nobody can see it as it is no longer there.

I like Publisher, it really helps with things like this.
