How to put trigger

Hi,

I want to have the current date in the listbox with value AS_of_Date.

I have added the trigger in the Settings - Documents Properties - Triggers - Document Event Triggers - On Open, and have added the following:-

Field - (=AS_of_Date)

Search String - (=trim(Date(today(),'DD-MMM-YY')))

But when I open the dashboard, no effect takes place in the listbox with value AS_of_Date. It does not show the current date.

Please help.

Its works. Put a trigger "Select in Field", see the image below.

What i am trying to do is - When i click on a dimension value say US in Country field it should take me to another chart or sheet i have for US.
