How to read cell comments from Excel ?

I wonder if it is possible to read the comments in an Excel spreadsheet to QlikView.

Comments are made by the menu: Insert Comment

I would say that it is not possible.

QlikView has a rather narrow approach to Excel in terms of just being able to import straight tables in selectable tabs, so your only solution is to ask end users to move comment into cells instead.

Alternative you can probably use a VBA-macro in Excel to write all comments into a separate comment sheet. Here are some ideas:
