How to reduce plotted datapoints in chart?

Hi,

In my dashboard I have a relatively small chart which shows the count of every temperature-value.

Below an example is shown.

As you can see in the example above, the chart has a fairly 'crowded' look. I want to make sure that the plotted chart looks less 'crowded' and less detailed by reducing the amount of datapoints that are plotted. How can I achieve this?

I am using Qlikview 11.

Hi:

In the tab Presentation, activate show scroll bar for more than 10 values, 20 values, ... The number of data points is the same but not at the same space.

Other way would be clustering or groupping your data by hours, days, even temperature intervals. If you group by entire degrees, you'll get about 30 or 40 data points, one per degree. For the result, f axis, do an average.

Luck.

How can I cluster or group my data?

A have a dataset where the temperature is logged for every hour in a day.

Maybe I can get the daily temperature average. Do you know how to achieve this?
