How to remove "Set by Style"

Hi all,

All the sudden "Set by Style" appeared in the font tab of chart properties, not in list box or in text box.

What I have tried so far to remove it:

  • Going into document properties and changing the styling mode to advanced which didn't work:

  • Going into user preferences and changing the styling mode to advanced and checking "Always Show Design Menu Items" which didn't work:

At this point, I am sure what else might work. And this is super annoying.

Did anyone have the same issue? And if so, how did you remove it?

Thanks

I'm also getting same "Set by Style" if I select Straight or Pivot table. If you change your chart type to BAR/Line/Combo or other graphical charts then you will be able to see the Font color and other options.

if you are using straight table, pivot table, list box or table box then it should display what you are seeing now.

Please check your chart type.

I hope you are not serious. If you look at my screenshot, I am in the chart properties.

by the way what is your requirement. if it is to modify the format or color of a text in a Straight/Pivot table then you can either use the Expression or Dimensions advance option for Text Format, Text Color or you can use Custom Style mode.
