How to replicate IE Plugin features in Chrome

Hi All,

We are planning to shutdown IE browser and client is asking to replicate all the IE Plugin features in chrome. And they are not interested to go with Ajax option due to some reasons. Can some one please suggest a workaround to replicate/move IE Plugin features into chrome.

Thanks in advance,

Sekhar.

It is simply not possible. Unless the customer accepts that something like this is implemented:

Petter is correct, the IE Plugin requires Internet Explorer due to the need for the ability to run ActiveX Control, which Chrome does not support, so the only option in Chrome is the Ajax Client at this time, the only other option would be to use the Desktop Client and either configure the AccessPoint URL in the Settings\User Preferences\Locations tab and then have the users use the Tools menu to launch the AccessPoint and open the application from there, or they could use the File\Open in Server option too, but that bypasses the web server completely and does a direct TCP port connection to the QVServer, interface is quite a bit different there.  Those are the only options available.

Brett
