OK. I was able to resolve the problem with the data not being reflected when I made various selections. I basically repeated the above steps excluding the container stuff. After that, I cloned each object inside the container and manually copy each object over to the new app;. This seems to do the trick.
Things are looking good except there is one "stubborn" pivot chart. This chart is by itself (not in container). The data is not changing no matter what I select. I even deleted it in the new app and re-created it using the same expressions from the old. I can't get the data in this pivot chart to reflect my selections. This is the last one I need to fix. Someone please help.
