How to represent stacked bar with single expression

If you have 2 dimensions with one expression you can change the bar chart to stacked in the Style tab otherwise if you have 1 dimension and 1 expression instead of the bar chart make a block chart.

If you're going for a single-dimension, single-expression chart, you can easily make a stacked single bar chart.

Just create a new Calculated Dimension and set the dimension formula to:

='' 

Then promote that new "dummy" dimension to the top of the dimensions list, above your real dimension.

Qlikview will be tricked into thinking you have two dimensions and will output a nice, single stacked bar chart. Enjoy!
