How to separate selections per tab

Hi

I have created a costing model in Qlikview and would like to separate the different tab selections per tab.  At the moment my Income tab selection affects or is also applied on my Expenditure tab selection.  I need selections made for Income to only affect the Income tab, same with Expenditure.  Also looked at Detach function but found that it applies to an object and once that has been done the object wont be affected by the selection being made.

Is there anything that I can do to accomplish this?

You can look into alternate states (if you are using QV11 and later).
