How to show the max(Date) for a Calendar Object when we click ClearAll

Hey,

I want to show the max(Date) for a Calendar Object when we click ClearAll. IS ther eany way out for this?

You can probably do this with a trigger on the Date field.

Hi Nikhil,

One way is : You can lock this field after setting the option in triggers as select in field---max(Date) in the sheets wherever you required.

I have applied trigger on activate sheet , for date it will select max(date) when sheet is activated. But dont know how to apply trigger when clear all is clicked. IS it possible ?

Hi,


First disable your clear all buttons (except toolbar, I think you can only disable it with Ajax but I don't Know it exactly)

Secondly You can create a button for clear all and after select the max value (using the action triggers of the object).

HI, I've the same requirement, I did the same way specified above, when I opened the qvw, it selects the max(Date), but when I select different date and click on clear, still it's showing the date other than Max date.

Example: one of my other report has same way, it has select field and clear all triggers, when I open the report, it's filtered on max period, if I select any different date then the report will filter on that selected date, but When I clicked on the clear button, it automatically jumps to the triggered selection of Max(date), don't know how it is jumping, Experts any idea?
