How to stop show QV tag

How can we not show QV tag when we start any QV application and can we show our company tag in the place of QV tag.

Hi zain,

You can suppress the splash screen as follows (assumes you are using QlikView 9):

1. - Open QlikView
2. - Select Help > About QlikView
3. - Right Click on the QlikView logo in the bottom right corner
4. - Find SuppressFlash in the list box
5. - Replace the contents of the Value field with 1
6. - Click the Set button
7. - Click the Close button

Restart QlikView and you should now see the splash screen has been hidden.

As for replacing the splash screen - I am not aware of how to do that.

This was helpful as we are working on our own branding. As such, is there also a way to remove & replace the QV logo and the name "QlikView"? Then beyond even that, can the green in the title bar also be modified to be a different color?

Hi

Did you know that you can display a custom splash screen when opening models. Check the image checkbox on the Document Properties | Opening tab and enter your image. Play around with the close options below to get the behaviour you want. Useful for branding!
