Hello everybody,
I am facing an every day problem that I guess many of you should have too.
I made same qvw files, and delivered them to final customer. Now, I am improving them by modifying existing objects (of course, I am doing that in my working copy). In the meantime, the customer is working with them, playing with them and, maybe, making some modifications in his copy, when he is able to do that.
The problem is: when it is time for me to deliver an improved version, how can I avoid to lose the customer modifications? Apart of bookmarks, that can be exported and imported, I think there is no way to do some sort of comparison. How do you face this situation?
Thanks
Paolo
Hi,
One solution to avoid this problem would be to ask customer to work on a new sheet or keep track of objects that he is modifying. Later when you have the improved version ready, first export the new sheet or objects from customer copy and then import it to the new version.
Thanks
Amit
Unfortunately, this is only a partial solution to my problem. Sometimes me and the customer are modifying the same object....
Thanks
Paolo
