How to unlink two text objects present in two different sheets without using triggers

I use two text objects to clear all the selections. Sheet 1 has default selections which means on Clear all default selections should be retained. sheet 2 has nothing which means on clear all here nothing should be selected. but on clear all in sheet 2 default selections of sheet 1 is getting carried to sheet 2 as well. Kindly help me with this

You can detach the object in sheet 2.

But text object wouldn't have a detach option like a chart.

Hi,

You might have selected the 'Always one Selected Value' option in Sheet 1

That might be the reason it is carrying the selection to the Sheet 2

Yes I had unchecked this option earlier because i too thought its because of this but there is no change

alternate state wouldn't work for clear all, because on 'clear all' irrespective of state everything gets cleared
