How to use the Domain users login to AccessPoint? - Qlik Community

Hi everyone,

I meet a problem.I have a computer which is named QVServer,the computer in a Domain controller. In the Domain controller there are two users,one is Jixq and the other one is Qiaoyc.

In the QVServer,I have installed the QMC. In the QMC,use the users in the Domain controller.And Jixq could access to some qvw files.

Now I want to use the Jixq and Qiaoyc login to the AccessPoint in QVServer.When I input the name and password is failed.

Could you help me to solve this problem?

Hi xiaoquan.

You shouldn't have QlikView Server installed on the Domain Controller.

And you have setup the users connector wrong.

Instead of DirectoryServerConnector\WindowsNT, use ActiveDirectory.

Thank you for your answer. I have installed the QlikView Server on the local system. not on the Domain Controller.

How to use ActiveDirectory , could you tell me in details?
