I have a model with 2 main columns (Company / ID). In the model I have a view with about 950k records (and growing)
I was asked to add our audit trail of each record (who edits what etc) which consists of about 2.5 million rows now (and growing). In the QVW I do a select and make sure the 2 main columns are correct (and that no other columns clash with others that might be named the same)
Problem is, even my 48gb RAM server can't handle the Sym Link for some reason?
Any ideas I could try to make it run quick? If I exclude the "ID" column (effectively breaking the link between the 950k records) and only link on Company it's quite quick (there's only 4 companies, while the ID's are unique per company and may have the same ID for different companies, hence including company in the "needed" columns)
Don't really see why adding 6 more columns breaks the entire model (that usually loads in under 2 min)
