Did you choose "open on Server" from your Qlikview Desktop?
hi Robert,
Yes. The Connection was fine but i can't open qvw.
Pleace can someone help me?
first check here, if you have really leased a license:
if you have still personal edition,
go to "File" --> "Open in Server" and then open any document at your QlikView Server, that should work immediately...
Hi Robin,
i don't want to work with a document from Qlikview Server, i want to use License from Qlikview Server to work in Qlikview Desktop. Qlikview Desktop and Qlikview Server are installed on different Machine.
I have the port 4747 and 80 on the both machine activated, but that is not.
What could be the problem?
Thanks in advance for the help
William
From the menu , Click File--> Open in Server, then click the connect button. It will prompt you to enter the credentials.
Key in the credentials, once the license is leased, you can try opening the document.

Please check these links:
100 Second Video - How to lease a license key
All you need to know about licensing QlikView
and try to exclude every possibility which could disturb the logic, for example is licence lease activated within the qmc? Another point is your choosen authentication-approach - by NT it should quite easily work like above mentioned, by using DMS is it different.

Hi Marcus,
Yes the license lease is activated withhin the qmc.
I now this Video, i did it the connection is successful, but i can not open a foreign file. Under license information Ii can not see that i work with the license of the server.
Regard
William
The connection to the server does not lease the licence - only the successful opening of an application will does it. And this meant that you had no valid licence. Which authentification-method is used? Which releases (there should be no mix up between different releases? Could you open these applications in the access point via the IE plugin?
