I have 20 Dimensions and 10 Expression in Straight Table. Due to this facing Performance issue. How to resolve the Issue.
Of course there are various possibilities from changing the datamodel to review your used dimensions and expressions (there shouldn't be calculated dimensions, aggr-functions or nested if-loops) but the best way would be to reduce the number of dimensions and expressions. 20 + 10 = 30 columns is far more as it would be sensible.

Dear Marcus Sommer,
Thank you for quick response.
There is any possible to do performance tuning in UI, without reducing the number of Dimensions and Expressions.
Regards,
Gopikrishna CH
Marcus is right, you can't do much of performance tuning when you have so many dimension and expressions
- Probably use less complex equations- set analysis perhaps
- Force the User to select some filters before they can view the Table.
- Divide the table into two or three table , 5 and 5 equations maybe
Gopi,
You can always use the conditional enabling of dimension and expressions. Its a new feature in Qlikview 11.
By this feature all the columns in the pivot table can be shown as filters and if user selects a particular column then only that column will be visible in the pivot table , so by this option you need not show all the 30 columns all the time.
Let user selects whichever column he/she wants
Dear Vivek Nair,
if we use the conditional Enabling option, again it will effect on performance.
Can we create AD HOC report in this scenario?
Regards,
Gopikrishna CH.
I think I was not clear before.Adhoc reporting in Qlikview is done similar way. Please take a look at the below URl explaining the same.
Hello Gopi,
May be you need to use the QlikView Document Analyzer.
It helps to verify wich fields or expressions can be improved.

Hi
Do you have the original file that you can upload and fudge out?
Would be great to see how we can help you with performance tuning.
Looking forward to it
