Hi All
Users who are running office 2010 can not export data to excel using the IE plugin. The ajax viewer works fine and will export to excel successfully. This can be reproduced on multiple desktops. Users with Office 2007 can export from either viewer version. This is not a UAC problem since the user can export no problem when they switch the viewer type. Is this a known issue? Does anyone know if there is a fix for this.
Hi,
Try adding your server IP address to the trusted sites in Internet properties
Did you find a solution to you issue?
We are currently experiecing the same problem.
HI Gerard,
Yes we did resolve this by adding the QV server in the trusted sites on the users desktops. See the strong below for the communication with support. It also seems that this issue may have been resolved in the latsest service pack release. Hope this hel;ps, good luck.
Kevin, the fact that it works in Ajax and not Plugin is exactly what I would expect with the Enable Protected Mode, as you have to remember that the Plugin client is an ActiveX component and is doing a direct client-server connection, whereas Ajax is only making a direct connection to the web server, and the web server handles all of the communication to the QVServer, the Ajax client never directly communicates with the QVServer. |

It is working perfectly for me with your application that you provide I as well, tested with IE7,IE8,IE9, ( please see image) Please check IE settings, make sure that the site is either in the trusted Zones or local intranet and make sure you have disable the “enable protected mode” or any kind of IE setting that block this to export. |
Did some testing is seems that the issue is only happening in 11154 |
