Image distortion of background sheet on iPad

Hi,

I have a client who is using an image as a default background sheet for his apps.

However, when they view the app on an iPad, the background image gets compressed. Objects placed over the background image do not change size so no longer fit the background image. This does not happen on a laptop or a mobile android device.

I have checked the image settings and it is set to 'No Stretch' so I would not expect the image to adjust to screen size.

Has anyone experienced this before on an iPad ?

It is an issue of resolution.

Try to develop the app with a mobile resolution, ex. 1024 x 768.

Thanks for your input. I have requested the client re-examine how the background image has been created.

I will update this post once I get a response from the user.

No resolution was found. Unfortunately, user used alternative method so investigation was halted.
