Impact in SAP system while fetching data from it to Qlikview

Hi,

Will there be any impact in SAP system when we are trying to fetch information from the Cubes.

like,

QV locks the cube while fetching data and does allow any updates to be done on cube while fetching data.

or QV gets aborted when updates are going on in the SAP side

or there wont be any impact.
