Import Bookmarks via Batch

Hi there,

exporting the bookmarks of an application is no rocket science.

On the other hand I got a combination where I am in need of importing those exported bookmarks automatically.

Is there any chance of getting bookmarks imported/updated in a file just by executing a command in commandline?

Thanks in advance

Patrick

Probably. The com api does make it possible to import bookmarks. You could create a vbscript script that creates a qlikview instance, loads a document, imports the bookmarks and finally saves and closes the file.

Perhaps this document helps: QlikView automation by external VBScript scripts
