Hi Sara,

I don't understand your answer.

I have downloaded from the official website of Qlikview (http://global.qlik.com/download/)

I have already a licence key. After installation I'll activate it with my licence key. But I can even not finish the installation.

It's probably a good idea to update your XP anyway, if possible.

Other ideas (taken from the reference manual):

- Note:

The installation requires the presence of Microsoft® MDAC 2.5 or

later. This is automatically installed with e.g. Microsoft Office and

all versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and later.

- When Setup.exe is run, a log file is written to the temp folder of the user. The log

file is called QlikViewx86.wil for the x86 version and QlikViewx64.wil for the

64-bit version. Each time the installation is run a new file is generated, over writing

the old log file.

So could you check the log file for more details, please? Or could you post a screenshot if the error dialog?

Hope this helps,

Stefan
