Internal Inconsistency, Type C detected

Hi,

QV crashes when we use the report editor. Every time we try to add a text item to a report.

The following error is shown: Internal Inconsistency, Type C detected.

I hoped this problem would be fixed by installing QV 9 but we still have the same problem.

Hi Frits,

I've experienced the same error but not in connection with reports (hardly using them). Also QV 9. Buggy...

I use QlikView 10 and also encountered this problem. I restarted the QlikView server and restarted all the services and it worked. Please have a try.

Remark: Mine, the DSC@hq-qiew was not working. Don't forget to check the service status in the QlikView Management Console.

I have the same issue. I use QlikView with Parallels, and tried v10.00 SR6, v11.00 SR3 and v11.20. I can create new QVWs and open these files, but I can not open any "old" files.

The files I tried are of many different kinds. Different sizes, created in different versions. The files do not have section access.

I first thought this was a problem with Parallels, but since I found many other having the same issue I rethought.

Very greatfull if there is anyone still reading this thread to maybe give some input.

Update:

As I use Parallels I have shared folders between the host (osx 10.8.5) and the guest (win7 ultimate). The files was located on a WebDav-mounted location at first, that was not working out with any of the files I tried to open. I then moved them first to the hostsystems local folders, with no improvement. Then I moved them to the guestsystems local folders. This worked fine. I have not set up WebDav in the guestsystem, but will post an update when I tried to open the same files directly from the WebDav-mounted location but in the guestsystem.
