Internet Explorer 9 Implications!

Dear All,

Just a quick question on Access Point. Some of our users started using internet explorer 9 (They were using IE 8 with IE Plug-in). I just wanted to know if there is anything I can do pro-actively to avoid any potential issues?

Please can you share your experiences in IE 9?

What version on QV are you using on server and plugin?

The only thing you have to take care of is IE pluggin I beleave.

Update IE Pluggin to the latest.

IE9 is not officially supported in QV9, so it is recommended to upgrade top QV10 SR2 if your organisation runs IE9.

With IE9 not being a completely new product most things will likely work as expected, but due to the close releases in time between IE9 and QV9 SR7 it has not been posisble to make full compliance tests.

                  i am using qlikview for windows version 9.00.7320 SR2

I am trying to open document in IE9 with ajax client it opened

but some of the objects are not working any upgradation required?or what would u suggest to get it work??

Hi,

If you are going to use Ajax, I recommend you update QlikView to version 10 SR3.

The ajax client has improved a lot in version 10 SR2. The interface was inferior and many objects didn't work properly in version 10 SR1
