   Is Quick sorting allowed in Pivot table?

If you mean interactive sort (sorting by user on click on column header), that is not allowed in pivot table. Pivot table is not very much sort-friendly.

Not allowed.

We can sort it first according to the first dimension, then according to the next, etc.  But cannot sort it any way you want.

This is not consistent. Users can do it in Straight tables but not pivot tables. Users are having to export their reports that are designed as pivot tables to Excel and sort the results in Excel. Excel can pivot data and sort it on column values. If this is not possible then allowing users to sort the rendered results in the access point would be nice. Worth opening a case for this ?
