Hello,

How to know if the exact dimension is in use in any document object?

Do I need to check all the objects or is there a more intelligent way to do that?

I think you are asking if a Specific Dimension affects other document objects

One way to see this is opening up the 'Table viewer' cntr+T and then see if the dimension is located in a table that is connected to any other table, if it is it will have a affect on other document objects that use fields in those other tables.

Lets say I do have a dimension called City.

I need to find out if this dimension is in use.

I do know how to look for dimension in all the document expressions but how to check if it is used as a Dimension in any Document object.

we need to chk manually with the metrics which v have used in the dashboard.

Am not sure but 

u can chk some of  in Expression overview    Press  Cntrl+Alt+E
