Is it possible to export a document to a pdf file using a macro without buying qlikview pdf writer

Is this possible as I have a one off application?

Does anyone have any examples of how to do this?

QlikView PDF Writer is free of charge. You might be thinking about the Report Distribution module that's used for automating and scheduling reports...

Creating a PDF report is as simple as printing your report and using QlikVIew PDF Writer (or any other PDF Driver) as your printer. Automating this procedure is also possible, but it requires developing a VBScript Macro.

There are other PDF options such as PrimoPDF which may be better if you're using it in a business environment.  The licence details on the QlikView PDF writer are a bit unclear but I have been told by an IT department that they could not be confident that it was licenced for business use so I had to change.

Cheers,
