Is it possible to hide tabs in QlikView Script Editor?

Hello!

Can anybody tell me if it's possible to hide tabs in QlikView Script Editor?

I know a Hidden Script can be created but I would like to hide other tabs if possible.

In fiel menu there is a "Hidden script" item, set the password then the tab will disappead (Save and reopen the doc)

Is there any way we can hide columns on the dashboard, without using Qlikview script editor? Or we can use the concept of Sub-tabs?

Any help on this would be really helpful.

Sorry but the question is not clear, do you need to hide columns in a chart? Or what? could you explain better?

as per my knowledge except hidden script we cannot hide the tabs in edit script. you can go for binary load , this will hide the script.

Hi,

I will explain my question again.

I have 4 tabs, Tab1,Tab2,Tab3 and Tab4.

Of which Tab1 and Tab2 are Main tabs.

Tab3 and Tab4 are less important (or sub tabs of Tab 2).

So my question is

Is there any way by which i can hide Tab3 and Tab4 on dashboard and by any means show Tab3 and Tab4 as sub tabs on Tab2 ? Of course not making any changes in script editor?

You can make use of External Scripts , call them at Tab2 and delete all the other tabs

There is no feature to hide. You can try creating the script file exteranlly and call it in the editor. There is other way to totally hide the script editor.

Any help on how to use external scripts and calling it in the editor would be much appreciated.

Or examples of earlier posts would solve my purpose, couldn't find anything relevant here.
