Is it possible to read the Script inside another QVW file?

Hello,

I have my application and I need to read the Script from another QVW file.

My goal is to get from that Script (QVW file) all the lines that have a FROM clause, so that I could get all the inputs and which tables are used in that QVW.

Is it possible to do this? Or I'd have to read the LOG file instead?

Hi

First, Open the Application whose Script you want to use > Edit Script > Go to File Menu > Export to Script File > Save it. See the Snapshot:

Secondly, Open your Main Application > Edit Script > Go to Insert Menu > Script File > Use the Script which have saved earlier. See above steps and use that Script here. See the Snapshot:

Try Binary Load so that the datamodel in the qlikview file is loaded into the new file.
