Is it possible when select first one, {$1} Is it possible to set up when select first one , the {$1} previous selection will not go to the last one

Is it possible to set up when select first one , the {$1} previous selection in set analysis will not go to the last one. just remain first one.
for example, month 1, month 2, and month 3. if select month 2 it will show month 1 but if select month 1 it will still remain showing month 1 , not go to month 3 ?
