Is there a way to stop recalculation?

I have a couple of large files. I also occasionally make errors that, for example, create a Cartesian JOIN between two tables.

When that happens, my first clue is a table that normally loads in a few seconds takes minutes to render (often faster to just kill the task in Task Manager, and start over!).

However, rather than taking that drastic step, is there a way to stop the presentation of a report, and get control back without killing the whole QV process in Task Manager?

on the bottom right hand you can see a x while the report is trying to present the data, you can kill that graph that way

I would suggest that you use limited load feature inside of the debug section, before you do a full load, that way you can check for cartesian and synthetics keys
