Is there any performance impact in using Shared Key

Hi everyone,

Is there any impact on the performance if I use Shared Keys in a data model?

In my case, Table1 is having some 6 columns and Table2 is having 8 columns with around 1000 and 200 rows.

But the Link table is having 10 columns, and around 200 million rows.

Is there any impact on the performance?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Rajat

There should be no performance penalty for this.
