Is this a fair statement regarding caution when joining?

Hi, Qlikviewers-

I've been putting a lot of time in on the join/keep/concatenate info and it makes good sense.

Can you all tell me if I'm interpreting this correctly:

Join may make sense if you are combining tables that only contain dimensions (and don't need to count the instances of them)...it's when you have tables that have facts/numeric value fields that you'll see record repetition cause problems....in your final table you'll be using instances of values and thus be overstating aggregates...

Thanks!

Camilla

I've read those, but there's not a lot of info about the differences in terms of practical use

Thanks, Robert! I can't believe with all the searching I did, that the Merging Data page hadn't popped up before.
