Is this possible in QV?

Capture.PNG.png

I want to have all boxes and lines to dynamically size based on filters selected by the user.

I can manage the bars easily in 2 charts or even 1 chart but the % metrics are hard to dynamically size based on selections and peg them to the height of the associated bars.

As I understand, there is no way to horizontally offset bars in QV only vertically i.e. you cannot offset it by X-axis but only by Y-axis value

You can do it with a simple barchart:

Yes by Bar chart this is possible.

Hi guys,

thanks for your responses, but this doesn't resolve the question since my chart is dimensionless and I need % metrics for the C & D blocks with a height pegged to the C and D bars.

I don't think this is solvable in QV.

Dimensionless.

Match() / ValueList() could solve the dimension issue

That's exactly what I did: C + D = 25, but they were refitted to match the height of the lower B block (= 20).

And yes, you do have dimensions.

What you have in this case is introduced dimensions, which is fine, however, I need to have the % metrics visible on the object as opposed to on a tooltip.

Also, that I need to have every expression with a different definition.

for eg. A = All Sales, B = Sales for a subset, C = a further filtered subset
