Issue in stacked bar chart

Hi,

I have a requirement on stacked bar chart.

The bar chart looks fine when the sub type is "Grouped" but once I change it to "Stacked" I'm getting very wierd results. Basically two of my expressions don't show up anymore.

Qlik experts, please guide.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Sachin

Hi,

It looks like the bars are stacked as the values on the Y axis have changed, I think that if you tick the option 'Forced 0' under the Axis tab then you might see the other bars stacked at the bottom.

Difficult to tell. Can you post a dummy app?

Its difficult to post, its coming from a complex model. But I have added a screen shot though.

without some sort of application to look at it will be difficult but it looks like on the incorrect image, the size of the bars seem to be correct - by date, they appear to be the total of the other expressions based on the correct example but the stacked is not breaking it out by color

does your dimension, customer document cycle, contain the 3 values and your expression is doing a count or sum or avg, etc. or are they 3 different expressions?

Hi Cesar, just a quick question. Is there a way or option to show the sum of all the stacks on top of each bar.

you can write an expression that represents the total, do not set as a bar and check value on datapoints - this will display the total above the bar

I used a combo chart instead and made the line invisible. That way just the total ws left out on the top.
