Issue while leasing a license from server

Hi Team,

I am having an issue while leasing a license from server. I have recently upgraded the server from 11.2 to 12.

In my previous version I had no issues on leasing the license after every 30 days (by accessing the Tools -> Open QlikView Access Point- opening any document) BUT here after upgrading to version 12, I have followed the same steps to lease the license and it displays the below error window; after trying to open any document.

Initially I have 'cleared license information' and attempted to release License again but this time the error as below:

Please advise...

Thanks,

Nihal

Once we faced the same issue.

The problem appeared to be that the user was connected to wifi that is used only for Guests.

Try leasing the license once more using "Open in Server" option.

Thank you all for your reply and advise.

I have verified the suggested points and everything is normal in my case but the issue still exists...

Finally I can able to lease the license...

Thank you vikas mahajan for your advise to try with "open in server" option again; initially this didn't work with 'Use NT Identity' authentication... so I have tried with other authentication options and finally got it with "Alternate Identity" authentication as suggested by Digvijay Singh related post.

But here instead of specifying the qvp://<domain>\<username>@<192.168.x.x> I have used the the connection string as qvp://<username>@<192.168.x.x> then it works and license has been leased...

Thank you all for your great support during this issue time.
