Issues in calendar need some inputs

Hi All,

Can you please tell us Pros and cons for Year,Month, Qtr selection on top as time hieararchy Versus To and From Date Selection  compare.

What will be impacts if we will change all the expression with Year,month qtr and To and From Date.

What are the changes which we need to do for this if required.

1. 1. Selection of last month from 2015 and 2 months from 2016 - SCENARIO IN TO AND FROM DATE SELECTION
2. 2.GET SELECTED MONTH/YEAR SELECTION WILL BE IMPACTED
3. 3. IN CASE WE HAVE APPLIED ONE MONTH OR ONE YEAR SELECTION CONDITION -WILL CREATE ISSUE
4. 4.ISSUE IN WEEK SELECTION-LAST 4 WEEK/LAST 12 WEEKS/YEAR AGO THING
5. 5.NEED TO REMEMBER LAST SELECTED DAY OR DATE TO VISUALIZE OR EVALUATE VALUES.
6. 6. WILL BE TRICKY TO MAKE SELECTION OF 29 FEB/28 FEB KIND OF SEELCTION IN YOUR SEARCH
7. 7. NEED TO CHECK ALL THE EXPRESSION /OBJECT F THEY ARE GIVING SAME VALUE AND EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR.
8. 8. what will happen if users need to select 17 feb to 18 March period- day and date selection will help
9. 9. what will happen if users need to select 5 feb to 18 feb-day selection will be helpful.
10. 10.Minimal changes in Calendar and Selection Boxes to slice and dice data.
11. 11. We need to create min /max dates variable to set up calendar /slider to provide selections.
12. 12. Need to change enable calculated condition in all the charts which are based on Time hierarchies.
13. 13. any  other implications on data model and front end (recreation of Variables and Object)
