I am not pretty sure if this is place I should post this but I could not find proper location to post this So I am posting it here.
I just needed to write down a procedure to download Qlikview for one of customer and to write this, When I tried to open Qlikview Download page. It is not working for me. I can go to http://global.qlik.com/download but when I login then after A blank page opens...!!!...I am surprised....!!!
So, Just wrote this down to confirm if any of us is able to go to the download page (at the final link to download)...and if not we can report it to qlikview guy. so they can fix it asap.....!!
I know a few colleagues of mine hade some similar problems. They got an error "connection lost" while starting the download. I saw on Twitter that QlikView is looking in to it.
There where some problems a while ago and should have been resolved. But apparently there are still some minor glitches.
Both the page and the link are working fine here. Check from a different computer/browser just in case, and make sure you logged in with your account. I'm sure that Jason will take a look at this anyway and escalate it to the right people if any.
I tried with 3 diffrent browsers in my computer and also on a different computer but after login then when I go to the page it just comes as blank...I don't know what is it....but there must be something wrong....may be that server which serves to your location is fine but I am sure mine is not....let Jason respond......
Hi Miguel, did you try to go to the link http://global.qlik.com/download while you were logged in....??..cause problem is after you are logged in..before that it opens fine.....!!!
I'm accessing after login, using Chrome in Windows (actually, I always leave the "Yes keep me logged in" checked in this computer). I've tried with IE, where I was not logged in, it showed me the Personal Edition webpage, I clicked on "Login" button and I can see everything. I've tried download the release notes for QV v10 and it's working here.
But according to what Dimitri says, it seems there are some problems with the servers, so we will have to wait. It's not the first time some people have problems and some others don't depending on their locations.
