KEEP and Join

Hi Friends,

            I am new to Qlikview,can any one please help on what is the main diffrence between Keep and join.

Join Merges two tables in to one.

But Keep does the functionlaity as what join does and leaves the tables as it is.

Example:

Table1: has Field1 and Field 2

Table2: has Field2 and Field3

If you do the join between table1 and table2

Table1 has the fields : Field1, Field2, Field3

in case you do Keep then: Table structure won't change but only change happens to data.

To answer as main difference : Join produces single table whereas, Keep keeps both the tables.
