Key Table and performance

Hi,

I use key table method in my model,but I am afraid that this effect the performane.

For example: if I have a chart  based on fact1 and the user select value from a dimension from key table, likw "date".

I am afraid that the selection effect all the other facts, not only fact1 which I use in my chart , and slow down the performance.

Any explain would be appreciated.
