Last 12 months , current year, current month

Hi to everyone,

i would like create a filter on the document where the user can select to see the data in the last 12 months, in the current year or current months.

Use the set analisys is the only way ? Because the document contain a lot of graphs and tables and i should filter the entire dataset

Wich component should i use for the filter?
