You can get zip codes with latitude and longitude from the United States postal service website. You can download it in CSV or Excel format

It depends if you need the following postcode or just the first part (outcode).
The full UK postcode to lat long data is available commercially, but there are sites where you can get the outcode to late long mappings which are royalty free.
Try googling "uk postcode data" to see the options what's available.

You can find sites that have a csv or database file you can download listing outcodes and lat.long.
Try searching. "office for national statics postcode"

https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/geocoding/?csw=1
You could run the zips through Google's Geocoding service for free. This can be used within a QlikView script, but you are limited to 2500 requests per day.

Amelia,
you could use GeoDesix (http://www.calvert.ch/geodesix/), an excel plugin which uses the Google Maps API. Using this, you can enter Excel formulae which will retrieve your lats and longs.

Amelia, there are a number of other apps out there that will allow you to geocode and/or correct an address via a web service - but these are are commercial options , that all come with associated prices.
Are you looking for a free list? or something you can use commercially?
