Lease a license from the server to open QVWs locally

Hi Guys,

I am trying to open QVWs locally and I am not able to.

I usually click on the file>>Open in server and then from the documents that I see I open a document then close it.

once done then I can open any documents I need locally.

Now this is not working!

Anybody can give me details on how can I fix that.

Note : I have System license under my name and I am able to see all the qvws when I open in sever and access them.

Hi Alec

Check that  'Allow license lease' option is ticked on QMC -> System tab -> Licenses -> QlikView Server -> General.

Thxs I got it. Somehow I deleted the username from the System Licenses list.
