HI wondering if someone might be able to help me !
I have a bar chart with the months along one axis and a legend which has 3 types - Change request, Incident, Service request.
The client has asked me to have the legend at the top of the chart horizontally, so
Change request Incident Service Request and centrally aligned.
Can anyone tell me how to do this as for some charts I have it horizontally set at the top but it is left aligned. It seems so simple but it has taken so much of my time to no avail !
Thanks
Sarah
Is it possible to post the sample data?
Hi Sarah,
If you hold down Crtl+shift when you have the chart selected some red boxes will come up in the chart allowing you to move individual components of the chart inlcuding the legend.
If you drag the legend to the top or bottom of the chart it will "dock" to that edge and re-size accordingly.
Edit: Sorry, I just noticed you already managed this but were trying to center align the legend at the top ... I'm afraid I don't think this is possible.
AFAIK horizontally is only on the bottom possible: Horizontal Legend in chart.

An alternatively might be: Use of a Silent Legend

Hi Sarah,
You can use N-Print for best result.
