License Lease Not Renewing

I'm a named CAL on our system running the desktop version using a license lease. My first 30 days is up so my desktop version of QlikView has reverted to the Personal Edition. I've tried to renew the lease by opening a document via "Open in Server". The docs open however my desktop version of QlikView doesn't update to the full version from Person Edition.

Did I miss a step or something?

Thanks,

Josh

If your named CAL's are not dynamically assigned (check the QEMC>server>licenses>named cals for the tick box) then you need to list yourself as being auhtorised for leasing as well as published documents.

I'm not at the server so i may have this round the wrong way but where your OS User appears like this:

MyNTDomain\MyNTLoginID

That authorises you for as a named CAL for the access point. Where your OS User appears as:

<MyNTDomain\MyNTLoginID>

that allows you to lease a license

You need both entries in the Named CAL list (and therefore two Named CALs) to have unlimited access on both the access point and local client
